Essendon residence designed by ARKit

This Essendon residence in Melbourne, Australia was designed by ARKit, a Prefabricated Architecture office who utilised prefabricated components assembled on site to build a 110m2 sustainable addition to an existing Californian Bungalow.The vinyl-wrap kitchen features a Carrara marble bench top and splashback and KDHW timber kicker-detail.Dining and living area with Western cedar double-glazed windows and a hydronic-heated concrete slab floor.Feature Hoop pine plywood stair and shelving.Hoop pine plywood shelving detail.Red corking detail on stair.Coved laminate bench top and splashback in powder room.Form ply bookshelves.Offsite construction of these ARKit wall panelling systems allowed ARKitĀ  to maintain precision construction and high quality finishes.Angled wall panels to restrict hot morning eastern summer sun.Western cedar wall panel detailing.Mild steel entry canopy.
