Design studio Kranen /Gille was established in 2007 by Jos Kranen and Johannes Gille and is based in Den Bosch. Kranen and Gille, who met at the Design Academy Eindhoven during their studies, are constantly on the look-out for ways to combine various disciplines, crafts and their own collected aesthetic insights, with a view to creating attractive design objects. All works of art appear to exude the industrial revolution, with a touch of the natural structures that remind one of Karl Blossfeldt’s photography.
