Recently, studies have shown that ergonomic seating comfort is achieved through the connection between movements and changes in body position.
In response to this, a simple bench offers your body the ability to sit in a way that is comfortable to you. The centerpiece of the chair is comprised of a flexible directional back made of felt.
It is designed in a way that allows for varying positions and is therefore very adaptable. The adjustable backrest supports and warms the lower back, providing greater support.
To manufacture this chair, the natural materials of timber and felt are used in combination with modern colors and forms. Material: oak wood and felt. Size: 43 cm X 32 cm X 45 cm (length x width x height).
Emilia Lucht, became a cabinetmaker, worked as a draughtsman and attended the Muthesius University of Fine Art and Design in Germany focusing on furniture and interior design. Always with the ambition to consciously shape the objects in our living environment, to experiment with materials and to express the poetry of formal design – resultant to find obvious solutions.
